  • 400 g carrots, peeled and diced
  • 200 ml water (more if thinning is needed)

Method
 

  1. Begin by peeling and dicing the carrots into small chunks for even cooking.
  2. Place the diced carrots in a pot and add 200 ml of water.
  3. Bring the water to a boil over medium heat, then cover and reduce to a simmer. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until the carrots are soft enough to mash easily with a fork.
  4. Once cooked, drain any excess water (if needed) and transfer the carrots to a blender or food processor.
  5. Blend the carrots until smooth, adding additional water if necessary to reach a thinner puree suitable for your baby.
  6. Allow the puree to cool slightly before serving in small portions.
