Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 100 ml water or breast milk
  • 1 tbsp plain yogurt optional

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the chopped mangoes and water (or breast milk).
  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  3. Cook for about 15 minutes until the mangoes are very soft, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth. Add more water or breast milk if needed to achieve your desired consistency.
  6. Once blended, let the puree cool completely before serving. Portion into small containers.
