  • 500 ml water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 100 g fresh blueberries
  • 100 g fresh blackberries
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 cucumber (for ribbons)
  • Ice cubes (for serving or optional warm steam)

Equipment

  • Pitcher
  • Kettle
  • knife
  • Peeler (for cucumber ribbons)
  • Mixing spoon

Method

  1. Start by boiling 500 ml of water in a kettle. Once it reaches a boil, remove from heat.
  2. Add the green tea bags to the hot water and let steep for 3-5 minutes according to the desired strength.
  3. While the tea is steeping, rinse the blueberries and blackberries thoroughly.
  4. After the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags and let the mixture cool.
  5. In a pitcher, combine the cooled green tea with the fresh blueberries, blackberries, and honey. Stir gently until the honey is dissolved.
  6. Allow the infused water to rest in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to develop the flavors.
  7. In the meantime, use a peeler to create cucumber ribbons.
  8. Serve the infused water over ice, garnished with cucumber ribbons. Enjoy it chilled, or for a warm version, pour it into mugs and enjoy the soothing steam!
