Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 300 g cauliflower, chopped
  • 4 small radishes, thinly sliced
  • 120 ml honey mustard sauce
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh cilantro, chopped optional
  • 40 g sesame seeds optional

Equipment

  • Flatbread pan (e.g., tawa or cast iron skillet)
  • Chef's knife
  • Heatproof mixing bowl
  • Cooking spatula
  • Large salad bowl

Method

  1. Begin by heating the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for about 7-10 minutes until the beef is browned and fully cooked.
  3. Stir in the chopped cauliflower, mixing it with the beef. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the cauliflower is tender but still has a little bite.
  4. Pour in the honey mustard sauce and mix well. Allow this mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through and slightly thickened.
  5. Warm the flour tortillas in another skillet or directly over a low flame for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.
  6. Spoon the beef and cauliflower mixture onto each tortilla, top with sliced radishes and cilantro.
  7. Fold the tacos in half and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve alongside a simple side salad for a complete meal!

Notes

Feel free to switch the ground beef for ground turkey or plant-based protein for a lighter option!
You can also experiment with different sauces—spicy mustard or yogurt-based dressings can add a whole new dimension.
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and can easily be reheated in the microwave, just be caution not to overcook the beef again.
Get creative and enjoy your cooking adventure!
