- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- In a frying pan over medium heat, add diced onion and garlic, sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add ground pork and ground beef to the pan; cook until browned, about 10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in thyme, cinnamon, nutmeg, potatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the potatoes are slightly tender. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
- Roll out the pastry crust and place it in the baking dish. Fill with the meat mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Cover with a second layer of pastry, sealing the edges by crimping with a fork. Cut a vent or two on top for steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Allow the pie to rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with fresh lemon wedges.
