- Begin by peeling, coring, and chopping the pears into small pieces.
- In a small pot, combine the chopped pears and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, cooking for about 10-15 minutes until the pears are very soft.
- Remove the pot from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Transfer the pear mixture to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. If desired, add a pinch of cinnamon or a teaspoon of oatmeal and blend again.
- Allow the puree to cool to a comfortable temperature, then serve it in small portions to your little one.
