Ingredients
  

  • 500 g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 200 g mixed salad greens (e.g., arugula, spinach, baby kale)
  • 150 g red cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced
  • 3 tbsp za'atar spice blend
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper

  • 50 g feta cheese, crumbled optional
  • 30 g walnuts, roughly chopped optional

Method
 

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and heat.
  2. Season the sliced beef with za'atar and a pinch of salt. Once the oil is hot, add the beef to the skillet. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the beef is browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  3. While the beef is cooking, in a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed salad greens and shredded cabbage.
  4. Slice the avocados and set aside.
  5. Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. To serve, layer the salad mixture onto a serving platter, arranging the avocado slices artistically on top.
  7. Add the cooked beef on top of the salad, then sprinkle with fresh dill, cracked black pepper, and optional toppings like feta or walnuts for added texture.
  8. Drizzle any remaining olive oil over the salad before serving.
