- Begin by washing the apples thoroughly. Peel and core them before cutting into small cubes.
- In a saucepan, add the apple cubes and water. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Reduce the heat, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes, or until the apples are very soft and easily pierced with a fork.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
- Transfer the cooked apples and any remaining water to a mixing bowl or blender. Blend into a smooth puree.
- If desired, add a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor, and blend to combine.
- Let it cool further before serving in small portions to your baby.
