  • 1 ripe 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Begin by placing the eggs in a small pot and covering them with water. Bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer for 8-10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
  3. Once cooked, carefully drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water to cool.
  4. While the eggs are cooling, cut the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  5. Once the eggs are cool enough to handle, peel them and add to the mixing bowl with the avocado.
  6. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the eggs and avocado together until you reach a smooth or chunky texture, depending on your baby's preferences.
  7. Drizzle in the olive oil and mix well until combined. If desired, add a pinch of salt or lemon juice for flavor (if baby is over 1 year).
