- Start by gathering all your ingredients and equipment. Wash the pears and pomegranate thoroughly.
- Dice the pears into bite-sized pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Cut the pomegranate in half and carefully extract the seeds, adding them to the bowl with the pears. (Option to wear an apron; pomegranate juice can stain!)
- Drizzle the lemon juice over the fruit mixture to prevent the pears from browning and to add a zesty flavor.
- If using, drizzle honey or maple syrup over the fruit and gently toss everything together until well combined.
