- In a jar or container, combine rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are mixed.
- Seal the jar or cover the container and place it in the refrigerator. Allow it to rest overnight (or at least 8 hours) for the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
