- In a medium pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely diced carrot and sauté for about 3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add the ground turkey into the pot. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon until it is no longer pink.
- Pour in the low-sodium chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
- Stir in the frozen peas and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for another 10 minutes, until the peas and carrots are tender.
- Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. For a smoother texture, blend the mixture in a blender or food processor until you reach the desired consistency.
- Allow the meal to cool to a safe temperature before serving small portions to your little one.
