Method
 

  1. Begin by selecting a ripe avocado. It should yield slightly to pressure.
  2. Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  3. Use a fork to mash the avocado until smooth. For a finer texture, transfer to a blender.
  4. Gradually add the water (or breast milk/formula) to the avocado while mixing until you reach the desired consistency.
  5. Taste the puree; if desired, add a pinch of cinnamon or a small drizzle of lemon juice for flavor enhancement.
  6. Divide the puree into small portions in a storage container.
  7. Serve fresh or refrigerate, clearly labeling the container with the date.
