- Begin by boiling a small pot of water over medium heat and add the mini pasta. Cook according to package instructions until very soft, about 8-10 minutes.
- In another pot, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely diced carrots and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Add the diced zucchini, peas, and vegetable broth. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the vegetables are very tender.
- Drain the cooked pasta and fold it into the vegetable mixture, ensuring everything is combined well. If using, stir in the garlic powder and black pepper.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly before serving. You can use a fork to mash it further if a smoother texture is desired.
- Serve in small portions on a high chair tray or in a mixing bowl for your little one to explore.
