Ingredients
  

  • 300 g beef sirloin
  • 200 g whole grain bread
  • 150 g cabbage
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • 60 ml tahini
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 5 ml olive oil
  • 2 g fresh dill
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 1 lime
  • Extra dill optional
  • Sliced avocado optional

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth to create a dressing.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sliced beef for about 4–5 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Season with additional salt and pepper as desired.
  3. Remove the beef from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, prepare the bento box by layering the bottom with whole grain bread squares.
  5. Next, add the cooked beef on top of the bread, followed by the shredded cabbage and cherry tomatoes for color and crunch.
  6. Drizzle the tahini dressing over the top of the veggies and beef. Sprinkle with fresh dill.
  7. Serve the bento box with lime wedges for squeezing over the dish before eating.
